Cubs Technical Director:

Celia Evans – 155* Caps for the National Women’s Hockey Team

Junior World Cup 2009, Women’s World Cup 2014, Africa Cup Champions 2013, 2015, 2017 and 2019; Common Wealth 2014, 2018

Aims of the Programme

  •  Make it possible for high school children to participate in adult league BUT in dedicated youth teams
  • Coaching from coaches committed to youth development and specialised skills training from current national players
  • Mentorship during matches with one or two senior, experienced players in the team to provide guidance
  •  Create a safe and learning environment for their league hockey participation
  • Allow them to experiment  with new techniques and tactics without the pressure of winning.
  • To develop their ability,  skills and confidence in order to give them the opportunity of being placed in the Club Premier League teams when they are ready to do so.
Training days and Times
Colts (boys): 
Mondays 18:30-19:30
Cubs (girls):
Wednesdays 19:30-20:30

Training sessions will be at Hatfield Christian School
